When a Mr. GoodTower Services technician surveys your cooling tower, you can expect a thorough inspection and a complete assessment by a trained, experienced technician. Our recommendations will give you the necessary tools to properly maintain your cooling tower throughout the year.
Our technicians are experienced in a range of services including tower service and refurbishment, warranty repair, Evapliner coatings, heat exchanger cleaning and refurbishment and piping insulation.
Inspections
We offer free inspections and make service recommendations to provide our customers with a better understanding of how to make their tower more efficient as well as to help them identify problems before they become costly headaches. Our goals is to provide you with the highest possible quality of work and to complete the project within budget and on schedule. The first step in an onsite inspection is to examine your equipment, reviewing the structural and mechanical components and testing their functionality. In most cases, shutdown of your tower is not required. Our extensive experience means we are rarely surprised at what we find during tower inspections. The recommendations that follow the inspection can be prioritized relative to your schedule and budget.
Maintenance & Repairs

Inspection Checklist

Work to be performed during a normal preventive maintenance visit: |

- Amp controls and check for proper voltage
- Amp fan motor and check for proper voltage
- Check alignment of drive components and adjust if necessary
- Check belt tension and adjust if necessary
- Clean sump area and remove debris
- Clean out spray arms, nozzles and header/hot-water basin
- Grease all bearings and motor
- Grind all accessible areas of shaft and paint with ZRC
- Inspect water level
- Clean strainers
- Remove any debris from fan screens, inlet lovers, and fans/squirrel cages
- Check heater package for proper operation
